Again, I ask that you please do not withdraw your submissions. Let them be voted upon. Why have the time that you spent preparing the submissions wasted? What would it hurt to keep them in?

Greetings!

Allow me to add my voice to those say that you should not withdraw your MoC submissions, your majesty. As one who does not "have a dog in this fight" (as a Norseman, maybe that should be "stallion" instead!) since I have been out for several years (almost a decade! but I am planning on returning...), I think they are well-reaoned and thought out adjustments to style and substance both. They appear have at their heart a desire to improve our combat and bring its style more in line with the ECS's mission statement, as it were.

So, please, allow the motions to go forward for discussion.

With respect, Snaebjorn

Just a note, a copy of the Imperial Estates Agenda is available on the Imperial Archives section of the site now.

Thank you to LS Paul for sending me a copy since my computer apparently ate mine.

Sir Rabbit,
I must know why you would like to see these items voted upon when you've been such an ardent opponent of them.

My Lords and Ladies,

Pray forgive the intrusion.
I have a few questions. . . .
Has anyone contacted the phone company who handled the last two telephonic Imperial Estates meetings and obtain the 800 number which allows everyone to call in?
Has anyone made a decision as to how many active lines will be necessary for this estates meeting?
Has this number been distributed to the members of the Imperial Estates?
Has anyone obtained the access code which allows the President to commence the Imperial Estates meeting?
Has anyone distributed the access code to the President of the Board of Directors?
If not, I will do so but I do not wish to duplicate the efforts of others if these issues have already been resolved.
Many thanks.

In Service,

Paul

Although yes, i do oppose some of the submissions, there are some that i 100% agree with. If these that i support are accepted, it will do nothing other than make the ECS a better group as a whole.

Thats it in a nutshell.

My Robert's Rules of Order is probably more than a bit rusty, but isn't there a legal way to transfer the ownership of a motion to a different proposer before being brought up to a vote?

That way, those items that Sir Rabbit feels strongly for may be still voted upon, and then his Majesty Sanguinius can withdrawl the others if he so chooses?

I am like minded with Sir Rabbit. There is a compromise in here some where. Don't let it get to you the ECS moves slowly and always has. I see that now that I am almost over the hill and I agree with it. Babies steps.
me happy me hit you with stick

So was anything determined regarding Texas?

Thanks,
